Pacific Corridor Integration and Logistics Program in El Salvador

The general objective is to contribute to improving the connectivity and competitiveness of freight transport circulating along the Pacific Corridor (PC). The specific objectives are: (i) improving the efficiency, safety, and resilience of freight and passenger traffic on the Zacatecoluca–San Marcos Lempa section; and (ii) strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) to undertake infrastructure investments in other priority sections of the PC, as well as for road management and maintenance.
