Fiscal Strengthening for Inclusive Growth
The objective of this programmatic series and of this first operation is to strengthen fiscal sustainability, protecting public investment and social program funding to favor inclusive growth. The specific objectives are to: (i) boost the efficiency of fiscal management (with particular emphasis on the efficiency of public expenditure); and (ii) improve pension sustainability.This is the first of two Programmatic Policy-based Loans (PBPs), which will be contractually independent but technically related.
