Program for Academic, Labor, and Community Integration of Youth in El Salvador
To strengthen youth pathways in El Salvador by improving postsecondary educational continuity and facilitating their successful and relevant integration into the labor market through the achievement of the following specific objectives: (i) Strengthen the academic, socioemotional, and technical skills of secondary students and provide them with guidance to improve their preparedness for postsecondary education and the world of work; (ii) Reduce economic barriers to access and retention in postsecondary education through financial support programs and targeted mentoring for vulnerable populations; and (iii) Enhance the relevance of training and facilitate the acquisition of meaningful work experience by promoting strategic partnerships between the education and productive sectors.
