Program for sustainable development through the improvement of child nutrition in Ecuador.

The general objective of the Operation is to contribute to the reduction of Chronic Child Malnutrition (CCM) in Ecuador. The specific objectives are: (i) to promote intersectoral coordination in governance and budget allocation for interventions aimed at reducing CCM; (ii) to improve effective and quality access to the prioritized package for pregnant women and children within health services; and (iii) to expand the adoption of proper feeding practices, access to safe water, and the provision of healthy environments for pregnant women and children.
