Operationalization of the National Digital Infrastructure Plan for Ecuador
The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Government of Ecuador to support the operationalization of a National Digital Infrastructure Development Plan, with the aim of promoting the sustainable and equitable development of the country's digital ecosystem. The specific objectives are to: (i) develop technical, economic, and socio-environmental analyses to identify and prioritize digital infrastructure initiatives at the national level; (ii) strengthen institutional planning and coordination processes to improve the implementation of strategic digital infrastructure projects; and (iii) design a governance and decision-making framework to facilitate the structuring, implementation, and monitoring of priority initiatives, ensuring their sustainability and long-term impact.
