Support to the Development of an IDB CLIMA Pilot Project in Ecuador

The general objective of this TC is to strengthen the institutional and technical capacities of the Development Bank of Ecuador (BDE) to support the implementation of the IDB CLIMA Pilot Program and scale climate- and nature-positive investments in Ecuador. The specific objectives are: (i) support the implementation of EC-L1318 and the preparation of resilient investment studies and designs; (ii) strengthen BDE's capacities to identify, manage, monitor, and report climate- and nature-positive investments; and (iii) strengthen BDE's institutional framework through the assessment and operationalization of climate, nature, environmental, and social management instruments.
