Too Good to Waste: Structuring the Quito Environmental Complex with private sector participation — a key strategy to mitigate methane emissions and advance toward a circular economy

Carry out the structuring of the Quito Environmental Complex Project, which consists of the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure for the provision of the public service of comprehensive management of non-hazardous solid waste and residues in its phases of collection, transfer, treatment, recovery, valorization, and final disposal. The project aims to accelerate the transformation from linear solid waste management to a circular economy, reducing environmental impacts and methane emissions caused by this activity (2.5).
