Support for the Development of Agricultural Public Services in Ecuador (DAPS)

The purpose of technical cooperation EC-T1589 is to support the preparation of loan EC-L1303 "Support for the Development of Ecuador's Agricultural Public Services," which will seek to strengthen the services provided by the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIAP) to enhance agricultural research and development (R&D&I) and improve technology transfer and adaptation to climate change; and the services of the Agency for Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Regulation and Control (AGROCALIDAD) to guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of surveillance, control and prevention of the introduction of pests and diseases that affect the country's zoo-phytosanitary heritage.
