Fiscal Policy for Climate Change in Ecuador

The objective is to support the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) in the integration of climate action into its policy and fiscal management to support the achievement of the goals contained in the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) plan within the framework of the Agreement of Paris (AP). To achieve this objective, this Technical Cooperation (TC) will finance three types of activities: (i) development of a fiscal management framework for climate change; (ii) support for the implementation of policy instruments for green fiscal management; and (iii) dissemination of knowledge and exchange of good practices.
