Development of Innovative Solutions for the Management of Water Sources in Quito (4RI)

The TC has the objective of increasing resilience to the effects of climate change in the water supply systems: Papallacta Integrado and Pita. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) create indicators that define the hydrological and ecological status of the watersheds that contribute to the water systems; (ii) develop a hydrological forecast using Artificial Intelligence techniques; (iii) design a protocol for optimizing operations in the water supply systems; and (iv) strengthen hydro-meteorological and water quality monitoring for the DMQ.
