Support for the Development of the Public Asset Management System
The Technical Cooperation (TC) has as general objective to produce key inputs for a project to improve the management of public assets, by building several elements that make up the system, laying the groundwork for the subsequent improvement of the index of maturity. Specifically, this will be achieved through: (i) strengthening governance and institutional capacity related to asset management; (ii) the development of the basic regulatory framework for the management of public assets of the central government in Ecuador, including a roadmap for the development of processes and secondary regulations; and (iii) the design of the technical specifications of the information system for the registration and management of public assets, whose implementation of which would be financed by operation EC-L1224.
