EC-T1200 : Technical Assistance to the Road Infrastructure Program EC-L1065

The objective is to support the MTOP and the Bank in the preparation phase of the Road Infrastructure Program (EC-L1065) for: i) conducting feasibility studies and final designs of engineering projects to be included in the loan that the DSM is handling the Bank; ii) the development of a technique Audit Program (RAP-i, International Road Assessment Program) points on hazardous roads, and investment mechanisms to solve them, and developing a road safety strategy at national level (this is new technology to Globally, Ecuador would be part of one of the first pilot programs, and will generate skilled people and professionals to develop the theme in Ecuador and offer them at the regional level), and iii) supporting the institutional strengthening of the MTOP.
