o support the Government of Ecuador in the execution and coordination of actions towards the development and design of the Development of Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plan 2006 - 2020 (PLANDETUR 2020) and implement main actions to make tourism one of the first Ecuador's productive activities, improve quality conditions and efficiency according to an international competitiveness context, promote sustainable socio economic development and contribute to achieve Millenium Goals.
