Housing solutions for poor and vulnerable population

The general objectives of the CCLIP are: (i) to increase access to affordable, sustainable and universally accessible housing for Ecuadorian households in housing deficit and in a situation of poverty or vulnerability; and (ii) to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Ecuador to generate and implement long-term housing policies. The specific objectives of this operation are: (i) expand access to housing for the population in quantitative deficit and poverty situation, prioritizing vulnerability criteria including gender and diversity aspects and preferably with solutions with climate change considerations; (ii) to improve the quality of existing housing for the population in a qualitative deficit and in a situation of poverty, prioritizing vulnerability criteria including gender and diversity aspects and preferably with solutions with climate change considerations; and (iii) to strengthen the institutional capacity of MIDUVI in its competencies and attributions to address the housing deficit of the population in a situation of poverty and vulnerability.
