Green Finance for Agricultural Sustainability

The project seeks to offer credit with a new green loan product, technical knowledge and marketing alternatives, through information technology mechanisms and technical assistance offered to small-scale producers, in order to implement innovative measures of sustainable adaptation that avoid losses or reductions in crop yields, and to improve value chain efficiencies. It also seeks to increase small farmer incomes through better management of risks associated with climate change, such as floods, droughts, hurricane winds, hail and other extreme weather events, as well as to reduce credit transaction costs.
