The specific objectives are to: (i) increase the number of SOEs that adhere to the corporate governance principles of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), including fiscal governance comparable to that of the private sector; and (ii) increase the efficiency of SOEs in the oil and gas, electricity, and aviation sectors.
