Ecological Farming, Marketing and Partnerships among Women in Rural Areas

ELHB serves about 2.000 poor women with microcredit and human development, using Grameen Bank methdology. 60% of them earn a living from small farming and agriculture. With ELHBG, they are learning and implementing organic tecnolgies, investing in new animals, and selling in collaboration, which is allowing them to increase their income and improve their well being. The project will expand this services in the rural areas surrounding Loja where there are not many microfinance institutions in operation.
