Investment Plan to Support the Transition of the Energy Matrix in Ecuador
The overall objective is to support the progress of the Energy Matrix Transition, improve the
sector's indicators, and support the recovery plan for the areas damaged by the earthquake. The specific objectives are to:
(i) pursue National Transmission Network projects that facilitate transportation of energy from new generation and reinforce
domestic infrastructure; (ii) strengthen and expand the National Distribution Network in rural and marginal urban areas and
contribute to rebuilding the infrastructure in areas damaged by the earthquake; (iii) support the progress of the National Efficient
Cooking Program; and (iv) provide institutional strengthening in service management.
