Strengthening the Health Services Network for Quality and Efficiency in the Dominican Republic

The objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MISPAS) and the National Health Service (SNS) in the preparation of loan DR-L1175, through studies and preparatory actions aimed at: (i) identifying gaps in health infrastructure, including water and sanitation, and defining measures for resilience and strengthening stewardship; (ii) strengthening the quality system by formulating strategies and identifying improvement plans in prioritized facilities; and (iii) defining needs and guidelines for strengthening technical capacities in key areas, with the goal of improving quality of care and the efficiency of the service delivery network.
