The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to support the Government of the Dominican Republic in strengthening the institutional, regulatory, and public policy framework for the governance of the State's digital infrastructure, as well as in generating evidence regarding its impact on development. The specific objectives are to: (i) generate rigorous evidence on the impact of investments in connectivity and digital infrastructure; (ii) strengthen institutional capacities and governance frameworks for the management and sustainability of the State's digital infrastructure; and (iii) support the design of strategic initiatives and digital services that contribute to improving the efficiency, transparency, and digital sovereignty of the State.
