The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the public sector of the Dominican Republic in strengthening the institutional, regulatory, and public policy framework for the proper governance of public digital infrastructure and to generate evidence of its impact on development. The cooperation will help strengthen the efficiency, transparency, and digital sovereignty of the Dominican State, in coordination with the following operations: "Program to Strengthen Civil Service Management in the Dominican Republic" (DR-L1142) and "Program to Support the Transparency and Integrity Agenda in the Dominican Republic" (DR-L1150), which support civil service professionalization and the digitalization of public administration. Likewise, the TC will generate evidence on the impact of the deployment of digital infrastructure and social connectivity programs under the "Program to Improve Connectivity for Digital Transformation in the Dominican Republic" (DR-L1147), in accordance with the methodology developed during the 2025 Impact Evaluation Design Week.
