Support for Developing a Sustainable Medical Waste Management System in the Dominican Republic

The objective of the TC is to support the Ministry of Public Health (MISPAS) and the National Health Service (SNS) in developing a comprehensive and sustainable medical waste management system in the Dominican Republic (DR). To achieve this, a diagnosis will be conducted to identify the main gaps in the medical waste managment system. As a result, a national management plan will be developed, along with an investment and financing case to facilitate decision-making and resource mobilization for its implementation.
