Support for the design of transmission and distribution programs with emphasis on energy storage

To support the Government of the Dominican Republic in strengthening the electricity system, particularly in two key areas: (i) facilitating the implementation of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to increase the flexibility of the electricity system, enable better management of energy supply and demand, and promote Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE); and (ii) developing a conceptual framework for the expansion of transmission and distribution systems to increase operational efficiency (continuity and quality of supply) and the capacity to meet growing demand.
