Opportunities for the transformation and diversification of the Dominican Republic's productive sector

The objective of this TC is to support the identification and analysis of institutional and regulatory challenges for productive diversification and transformation in the Dominican Republic in order to contribute to strengthening its competitiveness, business climate and private sector development in the country. This will be achieved through: (i) an analysis of the main challenges facing the country in terms of productive diversification, with particular emphasis on the regulatory and institutional framework, as well as policy instruments; and (ii) an in-depth analysis of two strategic sectors selected based on criteria of economic dynamism, technological development and/or sustainability.
