Support of pilot implementation of an innovative model for the integrated management of services for vulnerable women in the Dominican Republic.
The general objective of the TC is to support the GCPS, under the context of loan DR-L1080 "Ciudad Mujer", in the implementation of an innovative model of care and comprehensive management of services for vulnerable women that is effective, efficient, sustainable and scalable. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to support the implementation of two innovative pilot projects to a) prevent and attend to adolescent pregnancy, b) support the economic and social reintegration of women who have been affected by gender-based violence and adolescent mothers ; (ii) provide support to the GCPS in its capacities for the design and implementation of management mechanisms and public-private governance schemes that contribute to the sustainability of the Comprehensive Development Centers for Women (CEDI-Mujer); (iii) support the development of the CEDI-Mujer digital model, seeking to maximize opportunities for operational efficiency and the interoperability of internal and external systems linked to CEDI-Mujer services; (iv) strengthen the management capacity of the Ciudad Mujer project – Dominican Republic and the CEDI-Mujer; and (v) document best practices for closing gender gaps in the Dominican Republic.
