CANEF Dominican Republic Phase I: Integral Support to the Extractive Sector

The objective of this technical cooperation is to support the responsible and sustainable development of the extractive sector of the Dominican Republic, both in mining and hydrocarbons. The technical cooperation has three main goals: (i) to strengthen the institutions that regulate and direct the sector; (ii) to foster productive value chains derived from extractive investments in order to take advantage of the sector's potential to promote economic development; and (iii) to promote gender equity in the economic benefits and governance of the extractive sector.
