Traffic Management and Road Safety: Guatemala City Experience

¿ Present a successful example of a traffic management and accident response system implementation in an urban setting similar to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. ¿ Through a comparative analysis, identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for institutional improvements. ¿ Disseminate best practices for traffic management and control system use. ¿ Expand the knowledge base needed to develop an institutional capacity improvement plan and training in order to correct the identified weaknesses. ¿ Open the possibility for future mutual cooperation.
