DR-T1056 : SUPPORT TO THE PREPARATION OF THE PROJECT OF WATER AND SANITATION RURAL: INAPA

The objectives are: i) to elaborate a sector strenghthening plan through proposals of feasible reforms to be implemented by the executive of the Corporations of Acueductos (CORAS), INAPA, and other involved institutions; ii) detailed formulation of the Program of potable water investments and cleaning in the Dominican Republic (DR-L1041), as well as its technical, economic, financial, environmental, social and institutional justification; III) development of plans to decentralize the services of potable water and cleaning to four provinces of the country and their corresponding plans of technical-operative-commercial management (PGTOC) of the service of potable water and cleaning in the prioritized provinces; IV) to prepare a plan of investments associated to the implementation of the institutional schemes and of the PGTOC that are identified like high-priority and necessary, and development of the feasibility studies and definitive designs of a representative sample of projects; and IV) to define the mechanisms of evaluation and monitoring.
