The TC's general objective is to analyze the Government's agricultural support policy and propose recommendations to improve the efficiency of the agricultural sector's public expenditure. The specific objectives are: i) update the estimates of agricultural producer support, in order to propose actions to improve the efficiency of public expenditure to the sector, ii) develop a proposal to strengthen the functioning of the national system of technological innovation in agriculture; and iii) support the implementation of a new institutional model in the services offered and food safety.
