Rainbow Project: Health & Opportunities for Vulnerable Children, Youth and Women
The project is designed as an integrated approach to alleviating poverty and suffering. Its objectives are to: (1) reduce the medical-economic burden of childhood illness; (2) increase incomes of vulnerable families; (3) involve and empower the community so that it can sustain the Project's response to vulnerable children, embrace the issue and develop follow on responses; and (4) evaluate the methodology to prepare for possible application to other under-served and poor areas in the Dominican Republic.
