DR-M1053 : Urban and commercial revitalization: the case of Colonial City - Santo Domingo

The project will design and test a model of intervention in the colonial city to ensure that micro and small enterprises (MSEs) take advantage of new market opportunities that are presented to the revitalization of the colonial city that is being made through the Tourism Development program of the Colonial City (DR-L1035), which is funded by the IDB and executed by the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR). The project will be designed as a pilot model of urban revitalization with attention to commercial strengthening MIPES, a pilot to be scale in the second phase of a loan that the Bank intends to implement in the Colonial City and surrounding areas.
