Women City
The general objective of the project is to improve the living conditions of girls and women aged 10 or older in Greater Santo Domingo and Santiago in terms of economics, sexual and reproductive health,victimization by intimate partner violence (IPV), and risk of adolescent pregnancy by providing integrated services fo rwomen and girls at the Ciudad Mujer Centers (CCMs) in the cities of Greater Santo Domingo and Santiago. The specificobjectives are to: (i) increase the female employment rate; (ii) reduce the maternal mortality rate and mortality rate due to breast and cervical-uterine cancer; (iii) reduce the rate of (physical and sexual) intimate partner violence (IPV); and(iv) reduce the rate of adolescent pregnancy.
