DR-L1064 : Fiscal Strengthen Support Program
Project Status: Closed
The general objective is to strengthen public finances by reducing the public deficit within a sustainable medium-term fiscal framework. To
achieve this, the program will serve to boost tax revenues and improve tax quality, and to rationalize public investment. Both measures will
help reduce the public deficit and in turn will create fiscal room to increase education spending. At the same time it will seek to stabilize
current transfers to the power sector and improve financial management control, in particular over non-tax revenues and the central
government payroll.
