Support for Strengthening the Management and Planning of Costa Rica's Electricity Infrastructure

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the technical, operational, and analytical capacities of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) to improve the management of strategic assets in the electricity sector and support investment planning for electricity infrastructure, in the context of Costa Rica's increasing electrification of its economy. The specific objectives are to: (i) improve the availability and sustainability of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure; and (ii) strengthen capacities to assess and prioritize investments in electricity infrastructure.
