Support for the National Statistical System in Capacity Development for the Dissemination of Business Statistics Results and Access to Microdata for Research Purposes

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the institutional capacities of INEC and SEN member entities to protect, provide access to, and disseminate business microdata for research purposes. The specific objectives are: (i) to build capacities for implementing methodologies for anonymizing business microdata to facilitate its dissemination for research; (ii) to transfer knowledge about international best practices for controlled access to business microdata through secure platforms; and (iii) to develop a proposal for implementing recommendations on INEC's capabilities for accessing economic statistics, specifically business microdata.
