Support for strengthening the regulatory framework to promote safe, accessible and sustainable urban mobility

The main objective of the Technical Cooperation is to promote safe, accessible, equitable and sustainable mobility conditions in the urban and rural context of Costa Rica. The specific objectives are: (i) to provide specialized technical support for the identification and development of the necessary regulatory and policy instruments to provide safe, accessible, equitable and sustainable mobility conditions and that, in turn, allow institutional strengthening for efficient implementation. from the same; and (ii) accompany the country in the implementation of speed management measures in urban and rural contexts, and that provide road infrastructure solutions for vulnerable users such as women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
