Budget for Results

The main objective of this TC is to articulate the processes of planning, budgetary formulation and monitoring to strengthen the management by results (GPR) in the Central Government of Costa Rica (CG), through a pilot program budget for results (PPR) , to increase the effectiveness in the use of public resources. The objective of this TC is to develop the methodologies of planning and budget formulation to make them consistent with the GPR model and its implementation. As a goal, the process will be systematized during 2019 and a PPR pilot will be implemented for the year 2020, in four CG institutions, as a basis for its extension to all CG in subsequent years.
