THE PROGRAM WILL SUPPORT GOC STRATEGY IN THE IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE SECTOR, THRU A TIME-SLICE OPERATION THAT WILL FINANCE A SLICE OF THE INVESTMENT PROGRAM AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW SECTORAL POLICY TO SCREEN, APPRAISE AND FINANCE DEMAND-DRIVEN PROJECTS. THE PROGRAM WILL ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO TRAIN IRRIGATION DISTRICT FARMERS SO AS TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY AND AVOID DEGRADATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES.
