Support for the Comprehensive Transformation of the Colombia–Venezuela Border

The general objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of Colombia, particularly the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic (DAPRE), in consolidating and implementing an agenda to transform the Colombia–Venezuela border into a more efficient, modern, secure, and productive border. The specific objectives are to: (i) generate and update technical knowledge and conduct prefeasibility studies to identify, prioritize, and structure strategic public and private investments for border integration and productive development; and (ii) strengthen the technical, institutional, and coordination capacities of DAPRE and the public and private entities involved in border management and development to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate this agenda.
