Development of financing and monitoring mechanisms to support the Implementation of Colombia’s Biodiversity Action Plan
The objective of this TC is to support the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development in developing a technological platform to monitor investments in nature aimed at implementing the goals of Colombia's Biodiversity Action Plan (NBSAP). The development of the monitoring platform will include strengthening governance and institutional capacity, as well as creating new regulatory frameworks and agile methodologies for data integration. In addition, support will be provided for the development of innovative financial mechanisms to mobilize public and private capital for biodiversity protection, following the indicators and reporting process of the Global Biodiversity Framework and Colombia's NBSAP.
