Strengthening institutional capacities and designing bioeconomy policies for sustainable development in territories with high potential in Colombia

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to contribute to strengthening the bioeconomy ecosystem in order to promote sustainable productive development, leveraging the potential of the country's natural capital and the richness of its biodiversity. To achieve this, the TC seeks to design and implement a Business Survey for the Bioeconomy (EEB); strengthen the National Bioeconomy Observatory of the National Planning Department (DNP); and create spaces for dissemination and coordination among actors of the National Science, Technology and Innovation System (SNCTI), the National Statistics System (SEN), the National Competitiveness System (SNCI), and the National Environmental System (SINA).
