Strengthening Guatiguará Techno-Park (GTP) for enhancing the IT sector in Colombia
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the Information Technology (IT) capabilities of Guatiguará Techno-Park (GTP), a strategic actor/asset for the articulation and development of the digital industrial ecosystem in Santander, Colombia. Santander is one of Colombia's most strategic departments for the development of the IT sector due to their capabilities of research, development and the use of specialized human capital in relation to the rest of the country. The project will (i) provide and install high-tech IT equipment and utilities to guarantee the access of Colombian firms to cutting-edge technology, (ii) strengthen IT human capital and management capabilities of the GTP, (iii) support SMEs, startups and entrepreneurs in the IT sector and the strengthen their capabilities to adopt and use emerging digital technologies; and (iv) Strengthen international cooperation in the IT field between the Republic of Korea and Colombia.
