Support for the Adaptation and Implementation of the Cure Violence Model in Cali
The general objective of this project is to contribute to the reduction of youth violence (homicides) in target communities, through the piloting of the Cure Violence (CV) model that focuses its intervention, both at the (i) individual level by changing the violent behavior of individuals; and at the (ii) community level by modifying the broader social norms that perpetuate violence. Specific objectives are to: (i) improve behaviors, attitudes and norms for non-violent conflict resolution in target communities; (ii) generate new knowledge and improve understanding on youth violence and community cohesion for managerial decisions and policy design; and (iii) increase and disseminate knowledge on the cure violence model to prevent youth violence in Cali.
