CO-T1349 : Preparation of the GEF "Demonstration and Assessment of Battery-electric Buses"

The objetive of the TC is to support the design and preparation of the IG in seven components: i) Preparation of a field test of articulated, battery-electric buses; ii) overview of current technologies for battery electric vehicles with an emphasis on applications for maas transit; iii) preliminary cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of battery electric buses; iv) feasibility study of battery charging stations to be used for the test of battery-electric buses; v) overview of battery-charging technical and safety standards; vi) literature review and description of policies, plans and incentives for electric mobility; and vii) elaboration of full project proposal and coordination of activities.
