Mainstreaming Biodiversity Conservation through avoided Deforestation

     The general objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to support the Colombian Government through Corpoamazonia in developing a conceptual and analytical framework to assess current needs and barriers, as well as opportunities that can arise for Colombia in the context of Climate Change and REDD, with particular reference to its impact on biodiversity conservation in the area of influence of the Pasto-Mocoa Road, located in the Andean-Amazon piedmont in the Putumayo province.
