Integrating a Gender Perspective in Housing in Popayán
The objectives of this TC are: a) identify in advance any barriers (e.g., legal jurisprudence) that may prevent women from equally benefiting from this program and address them prior to the execution of the loan; ii) provide gender sensitive community with strenghtening training in: the role of women in disaster prevention and management; gender issues related with home improvement projects; and in reproductive health issues) with emphasis on the active participation of women and the inclusion of their strategic interests; and iii) perform an integrating gender sensitive evaluation and monitoring indicators.
