CO-T1125 : Study of the Economic Impacts of Climate Change in Colombia

The TC is to support the GdC in the development of the EIECC in order too incorporate the results of this study in an agenda of CC to Colombia. It aims to: i) design and implement sectoral studies to estimate the economic impacts of the CC to Colombia, ii) analyze climate variability to generate information related to costs of natural disasters caused by such variability, iii) identifying adaptation measures for priority sectors, including a cost-benefit analysis; and iv) organize and strengthen the capacity for modeling climate variability and the economic impacts of climate change through the strengthening of the technical team of the DNP and its coordination capacity to integrate all the institutions involved in the GdC.
