Formalization of Small Businesses in the Oriente Antioqueño Region
The main objective of this project is to promote formalization the legal registration of small businesses that are below the poverty line, through public and private agreements, trainings and consultancies. General Objective: Promote formalization and legal registration of small businesses in 23 municipalities of the Oriente Antioqueño region. Specific Objetives: Increase the number of businesses that fulfill legal normativity. romote formalization within commercial businesses that no not have a legal register or had not renewed it. Train the owners of informal businesses in legal aspects, tax laws and commercialization with the objective of promoting regional development and to strength their entrepreneurial skills. Formalization of commercial businesses. Signing of agreements with the municipal administrations with the objective of supporting the businesses formalization. Evaluate and monitor the promotion and formalization processes.
Components and Activities. Component 1 Promotion of formalization. Commercial survey. Motivation and sensibilization. Component 2: Formalization. Domiciliary visits. Permanent consultancies. Component 3: Interinstitucional strengthening
Motivation to municipalities. Signing of agreements. Component 4: Monitoring and evaluation . Technical committees. Beneficiaries: Businesses located in the Oriente Antioqueño region. Expected Results: Promote businesses formalization
