Acceleration of the Early Stage Capital and Impact Investment Ecosystem in Colombia

Leveraging the vision of IDB Lab's Innovation Hub and the need to develop entrepreneurial ecosystems in LAC, we propose a (pilot) program in Colombia that through : Acceleration of the Early Stage Capital and Impact Investment Ecosystem in Colombia: (i) expands the pipeline to be potentially funded by the IDB Lab continuum, (ii) strengthens early stage investors, family offices and local actors impact investment thesis, increasing the supply of venture capital and the possibility of synergies and co-investment in future rounds, and (iii) inform national public policy to increase access to early stage venture capital.
