Support for the subnational decentralization for carbon-neutral and resilient urban planning and resilience

This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to support the Chilean Subsecretaría de Desarrollo Regional y Administrativo (SUBDERE) in decentralizing governance at the subnational level. The goal is to foster inclusive and resilient urban planning and management. This will be achieved by:
Strengthening subnational teams: (i) Building capacity within regional and local government teams; (ii) Improving territorial planning and management: Enhancing the use of planning tools and processes at the subnational level; and (iii) Improving local decentralized infrastructure management: Supporting more effective management of infrastructure projects at the local level.
