Support the achievement of the country’s climate and biodiversity goals

The goal of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the achievement of the country's climate and biodiversity objectives, which are essential for meeting the targets set in operation CH-L1179, both in the first and second operations of the programmatic series. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to support the design and implementation of instruments derived from the Framework Law on Climate Change for climate planning at the sectoral and subnational levels; (ii) to strengthen the country's institutional capacity for climate action, sustainable development, and biodiversity protection; and (iii) to introduce policies that incentivize public and private investments in carbon-neutral and resilient initiatives.
